JBoss Clustering not working on Windows XP

    arya_ashish

      Hi,

JBoss Clustering is not working on my m/c having Windows XP.

Can any one help me regarding Network or other settings in XP to enable the JBoss clustering?

I noticed that when I disable LAN, the clustering is woking fine. But with LAN enabled, its not working.

      regards,

      Ashish

          I got the problem!

It was due to the VPN software installed on my m/c. When I remove the s/w the clustering is working fine.

Same for me: I have Cisco VPN installed (running on the wireless NIC), and multicasting does *not* work on the wireless NIC... If I run ethereal (wireshark), it works because the NIC is switched to promiscuous mode...
This happens even when I'm *not* running the VPN !
When I de-install the VPN, everything works fine.

I call my story a Third Node Strory - (TNS)
And it goes like this :-

I am not sure - if that could be the only problem,
because for me I do not have any VPN installed.

because I have one node - PC1 (computer)
              second node --- PC2(computer)

but my third node is a Laptop.
I can see on my console, which says two nodes in my cluster but the third node (laptop) does not join. The laptop node is running in the same subnet.

              Next Scenario is that.
I have a third node across a different SUBNET which is on a computer, but still the third node cannot get into the cluster.

              Any suggestions are welcomed.
