1. Re: Jboss 5.0.0 Beta2 Nullpointer Exception while trying to
brian.stansberry Jun 25, 2009 12:23 PM (in response to kalakonda1986)Thanks. But I need more context to understand what you are describing. So, a couple questions:
1) Do you see this NPE when using 5.0.0.GA, 5.0.1.GA or 5.1.0.GA?
2) If yes, can you provide the full stack trace? -

6. Re: Jboss 5.0.0 Beta2 Nullpointer Exception while trying to
jaikiran Jun 25, 2009 3:34 PM (in response to kalakonda1986)Which specific bug in GA? If you are talking about the VFS temp file bug which used to consume disk space, then it's fixed in 5.0.1 GA. Furthermore, the latest stable version with many bug fixes is 5.1.0. So you should start using that. 5.0.0 Beta2 is *extremely* old.
Also please provide the entire exception stacktrace if you are running into the exception on 5.1.0 version of AS. And even the relevant portion of web.xml will be helpful.
