JBoss 4.0 CMP Performance Issue and Deadlock

We are using JBoss 4.0.3 and CMP. With multi-user access the system performance degrades significantly. We noticed that this might be related to frequent deadlocks. Any suggestions on JBoss configurations which might have an impact on this issue?

Hi,

we are using JBoss 3, but had similar problems. Declare your read-only methods as read-only. This should help in most cases.
