Is clustering a part of J2EE Specification

Hi there,

I have taken a look at the specifications. But i cant find any specefication for clustering. Is it a spec or is it something provided by JBoss as its prop feature.

It falls under QOS (quality of service).
A j2ee container can choose not to support it.

Load balancing, failover and replication are
pretty standard in most containers.

The only standard definition is the
tag in web.xml
