Getting The 'SET CHAINED OFF' command error

Hi All,

I'm new to Jboss, I'm trying to execute sybase stored procedures from my app. I'm getting following error.

Could not find any rigMappings. SQLException getting getReportVersionDetails2 :
Stored procedure 'spRR_GetReportVersionDetails2' may be run only in unchained transaction mode. The 'SET CHAINED OFF' command will cause the current session to use unchained transaction

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

You need to make sure your Sybase stored procedure is set to "Any" mode.

For example: EXEC sp_procxmode '<your_proc_name>','anymode'

This will allow the transaction for the stored procedure to be controlled by external clients (ie the JBoss container). It will also work with local clients as well, thus the "Any" mode.
