Thank you very much for your help. The jboss starts now fine, the datasource/connection factory was bound to jndi! But i still have some problems with the connection from a external j2se client:
...Hashtable env = new Hashtable(); env.put Context.INITIAL_CONTEXT_FACTORY, "org.jnp.interfaces.NamingContextFactory"); env.put(Context.PROVIDER_URL, "jnp://10.140.51.126:1099"); env.put(Context.URL_PKG_PREFIXES, "org.jboss.naming:org.jnp.interfaces"); InitialContext ic = new InitialContext(env); logger.debug("InitialContext ok!"); // lookup for ConnectionFactory in JNDI ConnectionFactory connectionfactory = (ConnectionFactory) ic.lookup(Jndi); // get connection connection = connectionfactory.getConnection();
it cause a java.lang.ClassCastException. Do you know anything about this problem?? Any idea?
Would be very nice if you could help me any further. -

adrian.brock Aug 17, 2005 2:59 PM (in response to sloggy21)NOTE: The information provided above may not be accurate.
I'm assuming that you are trying to access a JCA deployment remotely
without binding it into global jndi, another FAQ (while we are on the topic):
http://wiki.jboss.org/wiki/Wiki.jsp?page=WhyDoIGetNameNotFoundException
and that you didn't know/search that this
is currently not supported, see JBAS-1794
or even that it is an unrecommended anti-pattern. -

kreator2002 Mar 17, 2006 10:32 AM (in response to sloggy21)Hello,
i see that you know well the jca installation.
I try to install in jboss 4.0.2, but I have not been able to do it.
Where i need to put sapjra.rar file? I need something else more?
I put the rar file into deploy folder but jboss ignore it.
Thank you very much for all.
