On Bootup, JBoss Starts and Immediately Stops

Hello,

I'm using JBoss on RedHat linux.

When I start JBoss by hand, it works great. But when I set the machine to start JBoss on boot, JBoss starts and then stops.

I've tried many different scripts, environment variables, putting run.sh in the background (or not).

Has anybody come across this problem? What can I do?

yeah maybe, so you are trying to do something like /etc/init.d/jboss start?
Two things will help, are you getting any error message before jboss shuts down?
And which version are you running or trying to run?

"stop" you probably mean "hangs" if so you are probably not on a network and the clustering is not happy. Try removing the "cluster-service.xml".
