Hi!

I am about to learn how the Jetty server works and then try to make a hello world example.
I have installed Jetty 4.0.5 but then I got stuck. Can somebody please help me? I would prefer if the explanation is a bit childish and step by step.

If you are running under Windows, try this one:

There are also some great 'step by steps' at:

They are a bit thicker, and deal with JBoss-Tomcat... but I am willing to bet they will work with the Jetty versions.

but I'm using Sun Solaris.
Could you please explain to me how Jetty, Tomcat & JBoss are connected. Or what the differences between them are.
I have been given the task to download the Jetty Server and then create a servlet running the hello world example.

JBoss embeds Jetty and Tomcat.
The web-apps run in the same VM as the ejbs.
