2) What you are tying to do
a) do you have any applications deployed, if yes what they do and what they have in terms of deployed jars
etc...
This looks like a classloading issue, but please provide extra info.

I have JBOSS 3.2.3 on Windows XP and j2sdk 1.4.2_01. I am trying to run run.bat file from bin directory to run the server I do not have any application deployed.

dsklyut Jan 9, 2004 8:52 AM (in response to far_ali68)The reason I ask about Classpath is that org/w3c/dom/ranges/DocumentRange is part of the xml-apis.jar that lives in the {jboss-home}/lib. So if you have incompatible version of that jar anywhere or replaced that jar with something else...
