Overhead? jmx-console vs web-console

I was just wondering whether the jmx-console or web-console are sufficiently resource-intensive to consider removing one of them from a production configuration set.

They're just servlets and JSPs so as such have little impact to your application server.

At minimum you need to make sure they're secured, or if you have no use for them, removed from a production system.
