JBoss variables

Hi All,

I am new to JBoss... Could anyone tell me how to setup a variable like ${jboss.server.home.dir} to identify a file in the Log4J.properties please.

Its easy - just specify necessary variable as sys property:
-D<param_name>=<param_value>
and put it into startup command, like :

set CONF_PARAMS=-Djboss.server.home.dir=c:\jboss\myconf
call c:\jboss\bin\run.bat %CONF_PARAMS%

See the admin guide as many of these properties are defined by default and you would only set them if you want to override the defaults.
