Hi,
I've had a trawl through the search for this, but can't find what I'm looking for. Is it possible to install Jboss AS using command line only. I have a server that I want to run it on, but I don't want to load a GUI if I can avoid it.
When I run 'java -jar jboss-4.0.3SP1-installer.jar' I rather unsurprisingly get the following message:
[root@colxtst01 simon]# java -jar jboss-4.0.3SP1-installer.jar
PackageListener, install.log=/home/simon/install.log
(.:14516): Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display:
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Simon.
Why don't you just use the zipped version instead of the installer. Then you just need to unpack the archive.
