kaobe Aug 28, 2006 5:53 AM (in response to jk88811)Hi,
Look in deploy/jbossweb-tomcat55.sar/conf/web.xml from line 224 on and uncomment the following:
<!-- Uncomment to use jdk1.5 features in jsp pages
<init-param>
<param-name>compilerSourceVM</param-name>
<param-value>1.5</param-value>
</init-param>
-->
I hope that helps.

3. Re: JBoss 4.0.4GA don't support java 5.0 new features(generi
tynor Nov 27, 2006 5:44 PM (in response to jk88811)Is it possible to configure the compilerSourceVM via an application-specific deployment descriptor (something like WEB-INF/tomcat.xml or WEB-INF/jboss.xml? ) rather than the global jboss configuration? I'd like to bundle this setting into my WAR to reduce the workload on the downstream sysadmins who install it. Ideally, this would be in a jboss-specific xml file so that I can bundle jboss config into the WAR without tying the WAR to be JBoss specific.
Thanks!
