Access jar file contents from within Bean?

I'd like to package arbitrary files (schema, icons, etc) within the jar file that contains a Bean.

How can I access these files at runtime from within the Bean?

Within a class, you could use:

InputStream is = this.class().getResourceAsStream("some.ico");

The file some.ico would have to be in the same directory as the class file.
