Cannot access jboss from outside the jboss host

Hi

I've deployed jboss by extracting the zip file onto my CentOS 5.2. The Jboss starts up fine using the run.sh and on the same host going to http://localhost:8080/ shows the jboss page. So all good.

When trying to access the same jboss instance from LAN, I cannot get to the page and was presented "cannot display page"

on the CentOS, there's no firewall and no SELinux. Did I miss anything?

I advice you to create a new start.sh.
E.G
nohup $JBOSS_DIR/bin/run.sh -b 0.0.0.0.0 -c $SERVER_NAME > log.log &

I forgott to put down where is the point of the problem.

You have to use the option "-b" to make jboss to bind on port on any ip.
