masatheesh Jun 17, 2009 12:52 AM (in response to masatheesh)yes right.I could get the server folders in jboss installation for linux.I have tried to install JBOSSweb2.1 in windows system.Here I can get webapps folder like tomcat.I have searched for linux version.I am not able to find it.Please guide me to perform this.

peterj Jun 17, 2009 12:24 PM (in response to masatheesh)For JBoss Web 2.1 for Linux, download the bintar file from http://www.jboss.org/jbossweb/downloads/jboss-web/?action=a&windowstate=maximized, unpack it anywhere (I have mine at /opt/jboss/jboss-web-2.1.2-GA), open a terminal in the bin directory and run "./start.sh"

masatheesh Jun 18, 2009 1:57 AM (in response to masatheesh)Thanks.I can do it.But this version has tomcat 6.0.Actually I am looking JBOSS which has tomcat 5.0.I have tried upto JBOSS 1.0 also.But except jboss-web-2.1.2-GA,all other versions are not having tomcat technology.Can you please help me?

peterj Jun 18, 2009 2:12 PM (in response to masatheesh)The old JBoss Web 1.0 versions all use the JBoss AS directory structure, but are still pretty much a rebranded Tomcat 5.5. You will not find a JBoss Web that corresponds to Tomcat 5.0.
