Non Blocking popup panel

Hi,

Is there an example of non blocking popup panel using richfaces which does not block the parent page?

<rich:modalPanel blocks the parent page on which it open up.

I need the same.
Popup panel should appear when user clicks on data table row.
I tried toggle panels but they are rendered as child elements of dataTable cell, and resizes the cell when opened. The preferable behavour in my case is drawing the panel in front of other controls, like e.g. Goolge chat windows. Butbackground controls should remain responsive.

Any ideas how to implement that ?

in your case you can try tooltip which assigned to onclick event.

richfaces does not have any component that does this, but the scriptaculous/prototype libraries do.
