Calendar - Date-Time- :)

Hey,

I assume calendar component does not support time selection (unless I'm wrong?),


Is there a plan to add time (hours:minutes) support for the calendar component?

Nah, it should be the same component, as at the end, usually you use Date object at the backend, whether it includes time or not,

otherwise it'll be harder to combine them both to the same property (I think?),

I think JSF components families(myfaces/trinindad/icefaces/etc...) really lacks with this one, so here's another point for Richfaces to continue being above them all :-)

I think that ability for time entering are needed as optional feature.
And doesn't sure that example at http://www.dynarch.com/demos/jscalendar/ has good usability for a time entering.

ye,

that is just an example, but it can be combined with the same component, just an optional bar or something, maybe something like 'timeSelection=true/false' and sort of datePattern combining time,


and ye, that mouse click/holding shift stuff aint so nice, maybe arrows near hours/minutes with up/down plus clicking on the hour/minute opens a selectbox with optional hours / minutes,

+1 on calendar supporting time selection. I'm currently using a wrapper component around Dynarch's JSCalendar because I need the date/time in the same input field, same backing bean property. It works OK, but I'd prefer to stick to richfaces components.
