Partitioning in JBoss Cache V2.2.0

Coult it be possible to describe briefly what will be this new functionnality
in V2.2.0. JBoss Cache implements already partitioning via Buddy Replication. What is the difference ?

It won't be in 2.2.0, but 3.2.0 instead (see JIRA - http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JBCACHE-60)
