Thanks for the answer Manik. I need to do this in a hibernate app in which JBoss cache serves as an L2 cache and due to fine grained performance optimizations I need to mute some regions.
Well, if you give me some hints (class name, ...) on how replication works I could implement one and send it to you too if it is useful.
Thanks again,

3. Re: Replication setting per region
manik Mar 14, 2008 8:34 AM (in response to fkohantorabi)Hmm, that is a bit more tricky. Are you suggesting that some entities need to be replicated while others not? If that is the case, perhaps you could use different hibernate configurations, perhaps using shards? Disclaimer: I haven't investigated or thought about this too much, I could be talking rubbish! :-)

genman Mar 14, 2008 8:56 PM (in response to fkohantorabi)I don't see why you couldn't subclass the replication interceptors to simply ignore certain FQN. Unfortunately, it's not that straightforward to set up your own interceptor chain.
