How do resolve the error

WARN [TxInterceptor] Commit failed. Clearing stale locks.

and the cacheloader fails. i.e saving to db fails.

I've a jboss 5 GA cluster set up.

If I remove this piece from the config file then the transaction goes through fine.. is anything wrong in the below set up

Do you need a replicated cache or a standalone one? :-)

Replicated Cache.

Then don't remove the clustering section of your config file. :-)

But eviction does not work , as commit fails , if I have the clustering section. That is when I have this thread posted.

You need to look into your logs and determine why a transaction failed. It could be any number of reasons.
