jboss and jetty and datasource

Hi all, I was wondering if someone could help me. I'm using the SQL Server driver for JDBC
into JBOSS and Jetty, but when I want to update a registry value and then I want to check
the current value, it doesn't display the new value, I have to restart the server to display
the new values. I?m not sure if the problem is happening because of the server or what could
be causing this erroneous behavior. Could someone have an idea in order to solve this
problem?

Use: Jboss 3.0.6 with Jetty 4.2.6, windows 2000

The problem lookes to me to be that the transaction is not commited before you read the new value. You need to force a commit if you wish to read the updated value in the same transaction.

ok, but, where I need to do commit?, because my code is correct when I run it into J2ee server.

Try calling commit() on your database connection once you have made the updates.

I wriote con.setAutocommit(false) before update and con.setAutocommit(true) after updtae an this solve my problem.

sorry, I have bad news, I forgot to write "con.commit" and when I wrote htis send me that i can't do commit when is running management conection.
I sad.
do you know what happend??
