    Unable to download the documentation

    nagurva

We have purchased Comprehensive Documentation 12 Month Subscription at Feb 21, 2003. When I logging into component source I could not find any
link to download the documentation. Please let me know , how to download the documentation.

      Thanks,
      Nagurva

I tried to download the CMP 2.0 book to my Solaris x86 box.
The only thing I've got is a file called CSWebDownload.exe. The ComponentSource hotline informed me, that they might support Windows only and adviced me to post an email to support@ComponentSource.com -- which I did, still waiting for an answer.

It looks like I need to buy some Windows Operating System first
and -- if there is still money left -- I might be able to buy and download JBoss Docs.

            Hi,
I had the same problem. I didn't take the email way to contact them, I phoned ComponentSource directly and got an email with a link to download the docs within 1-2 days via email.
            Regards, Dominic

              Just to complete the story:
Next day I drove to a friend (15 km) who happens to run
MS-Windows, installed the exe and downloaded the
              CMP 2.0 book.

Till today no answer from support@componentsource.com,
the email address I was told to post a message when I called
              Component Source.

I strongly recommend to switch to a company with a service
              quality similar to flashline's.

                Hi,
as stated above, I didn't have the problems contacting ComponentSource. However, I don't know how many percent of the JBoss users run JBoss on Windows and how many on Unix/Linux. I think, that it is a really bad idea to sell docs in this way (Windows like), since a major number of users does not use Windows.
I do also think that it is a really good idea to switch to another company that offers OS independend services.
                Regards,
                Dominic

ComponentSource has added a "Unix Edition" to all JBoss documentation in the JBoss store.

If you select the Unix Edition when purchasing JBoss documentation, you will not be required to download a Windows executable file as part of the download. You will be able to directly download the documentation .ZIP file.

                  Thank you,
