1. Re: Win32 download option is ridiculous
mwalker Nov 17, 2003 11:13 PM (in response to jboss.magiconair.net)I agree completely. This is utter CRAP. On the rare occasions some nimrod makes me reboot into Windoze, they drop several notches in my estimation. Not that my estimation is worth much, but obviously I'm not the only one who feels this way. AAAARRRGHHHH!!!!

altoids77 Nov 18, 2003 4:27 PM (in response to jboss.magiconair.net)I too agree. This is quite rude and inconsiderate.
However, I'm reassued that, at the very least, the documents themselves aren't in MS(R)-Powerpoint(TM). Thank you for that. -

strobhen Nov 18, 2003 6:53 PM (in response to jboss.magiconair.net)I agree as well.
I bet the vast, vast majority of people using your server are using it on linux, and they can't download their documentation to a linux machine easily?
Really now, that's pretty silly. -
4. Re: Win32 download option is ridiculous
csourcechrisb Apr 13, 2004 12:42 PM (in response to jboss.magiconair.net)ComponentSource has added a "Unix Edition" to all JBoss documentation in the JBoss store.
If you select the Unix Edition when purchasing JBoss documentation, you will not be required to download a Windows executable file as part of the download. You will be able to directly download the documentation .ZIP file.
Thank you,
