            The issue is that, based on what I gather from the forum and the web, JBoss AOP requires JBoss 4.XX, which is not there yet. The project I am working on is JBoss 3.2.3 based, running late and I would like to use Aspect Oriented programming to address a particular service.

            Given that, I thought it would be more appropriate to pursue the use of AspectJ which is more readily available.

            Are there any best practices/ lessons learned by anyone using AOP (specifically AspectJ and JBOSS 3.2.3
