I found my own answer eventually. For those who don't know, mail module source can be downloaded from the JBoss CVS repository at:

Do note that it is not ready for actual use which is why there are no binarys. Information is provided mainly intended for those wishing to help develop it ATM. I'll have some more commits in a matter of days which make CCs and BCCs work, etc. Secondly, MIME attachments. Following this I'm thinking list management.
