Richfaces 3.1.x doesnt work with Opera Mobile

Hello,

Richfaces 3.0.1 worked great with Opera Mobile v. 8.65, however when I include the .JAR files for version 3.1.0, 3.1.1 or 3.1.2, nothing works, not even the standard links and commandbuttons.

Have anyone gotten version 3.1.x to work with Opera Mobile ?

Just a guess: Did you remove the ajax4jsf library?

No, quite the contrary. In the new Richfaces versions A4J is included in the three richfaces jars. When you combine that with an old A4J library it crashes.

I asked because that is often the problem. But it seems to be not your problem...

I guess my problem is that it works as it's supposed to in both IE and Firefox on the PC, but in Opera Mobile 8.65 nothing that is JSF works at all (nothing is sent to the server), this is so both for Ajax and normal HTTP request.

Does anyone know if the way XmlHttpRequest is fired has changed at all between 3.0.1 and 3.1.x ? I find it strange that 3.0.1 works perfectly, while nothing works with version 3.1.x...

No.. nothing was changed in general with our request sending mechanism,. Think this questions is for Opera team.

You might be right, and I probably will report it to them if I can't get it working. The problem though, is that version 3.0.1 works perfectly with Opera Mobile 8.65, but replacing the Jar files to version 3.1.x breaks everything in Opera Mobile, but nothing in Firefox... Strange indeed...
