1. Make the database nukes available to user nukes from anywhere (%)
read the MySQL docs if you don't know how.
2. Make sure your password is eight characters long.

jmartinson Mar 18, 2004 3:42 PM (in response to mvkirankumar)The prepare.ddl sql commands threw syntax errors from mysql. I just deleted the nukes entry it put in mysql.user like this:
mysql> delete from mysql.user where User='nukes';
and then ran a simple grant statement:
mysql> grant all on nukes.* to nukes@localhost identified by "password";
