ilya_shaikovsky Dec 3, 2007 2:24 PM (in response to panky_p)please to read about the basics look at dev guide and demosite - there are many examples.
The only thing I want to pay your attention again - that standard h:command* requests will close your MP component becuase it will be recreated and hidden by default. And if you will use ajax requests - it will stay opened because only parts of the page will be updated but not the whole panel. -
4. Re: keeping the modal panel up after submitting the form
panky_p Dec 10, 2007 9:19 AM (in response to panky_p)Hi,
making use of ajax request is ok but because of it I am unable to pass parameter to it.
As I wan after submitting form within modalPanel I will get some input field but when I submit modalPanel the values are stored in first element of dataTable and not in selected one I am using datamodal for the selection but of no use.
How can i pass the selected elements ID to modalPanel so that I can edit only selected field after submitting form within modalPanel with ajax request?
Thanks
