This is the class as it was in jboss-head, before it was moved to the JBossCache:

I'd assumed any non private methods are used somewhere.
The other issue is why this class was serializable? and what affect that has on
jboss cache 1.2.4 interoperating with 1.2.3 and before.
You should also preserve authors during refactoring.
Although the copyright is still intact regardless, you should retain all attributation.
And you need to restore the JBoss header with the license information.
