Opening JBOSS-XML-files with Eclipse is very slowly

Every time, when I open in Eclipse 3.0.2 (inclucing JBoss IDE 1.4.0) the files JBOSS.XML or JBOSS-WEB.XML, the GUI freeze in, and I have to wait a few seconds. The same happens, if I want to save the JBOSS-XML-files. All the other files are opened and saved quickly. What is the reason, that opening / saving the JBOSS-XML-files takes so long?

I believe that JBoss-IDE is validating the xml deployment descriptors against the DTD (or XSD as the case may be), which means downloading the DTD or XSD from the website it references. I'm not aware of any option in Preferences->JBoss IDE that allows you to disable the validation.
