Rational Application Developer

Is it possible to to use Rational Application Developer v7 (based on eclipse 3.2) to create an App that deploys to JBOSS 4? I don't want to have to install to many versions of Eclipse on my PC.

I'm not at all familiar with how much rational changes the 3.2 structure, what plugin versions they come bundled with, which they conflict with, or which of ours do not match. I also don't think anyone on our team is familiar with that either. =/
