maxandersen Nov 10, 2008 2:21 AM (in response to mike.baum)what do you mean access the new components within XHTML files ? You mean via code completion or at runtime ?

mike.baum Nov 10, 2008 10:14 AM (in response to mike.baum)Max,
Sorry I should have been more specific. The issue is that within Eclipse, the new components that are included in v. 3.2.2.GA release of the richfaces library are not accessible for code completion nor are they visible in the VPE Editor or the JBoss Tools Palette.
Another person suggested that I need to update the TLD files to replace 3.2.1 for 3.2.2 as follows:
change:<tlib-version>3.2.1</tlib-version>
to:<tlib-version>3.2.2</tlib-version>
in richfaces-ui.jar/META-INF/*.tld files
I did this and it had no effect. Anyway, any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike -
3. Re: JBoss Tools support for Richfaces 3.2.2 in XHTML files
maxandersen Nov 11, 2008 4:38 AM (in response to mike.baum)I think this be caused by a feature/bug of our completion mechanism which does not properly pick up things from TLD's but instead listen to a statically generated xml file.
This is on our must-fix list after 3 GA.
I'll get Alexander to confirm if i'm wrong/correct. -

akazakov Nov 11, 2008 6:40 AM (in response to mike.baum)Max, you are correct. We use some spacial XMLs instead of TLD. TLD is not enough for us. But we should use TLD for code assist anyway.

maxandersen Nov 11, 2008 6:45 AM (in response to mike.baum)right, and https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/JBIDE-2808 is the request for that if Mike wants to track it.
