Can't intall jbossas plugin on eclipse 3.4.2

Hi,
I'm tiring to install jbossas tool plug-in on eclipse 3.4.2 using the jboss tool update site (JBoss Tools 3.0 Stable Updates).
I followed the instructions on :
http://www.jboss.org/community/docs/DOC-10044

I included (BIRT 2.3 Updates) and
(Eclipse 3.4 "Ganymede" Updates) in my update sites.

I'm getting the following error and the installation failed:
An error occurred while collecting items to be installed
No repository found containing: org.jboss.ide.eclipse.firstrun/osgi.bundle/2.1.1.GA

Can anyone help me with this?

stable updates only have JBoss Tools 2 so use Eclipse 3.3 with that.

Eclipse 3.4 requires JBoss Tools 3 which is from the dev updatesite - which at the moment is having issues.

http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/updates/development/ has been repaired to include the 3.0.0.CR2 bits.

Ah, if you want the post-CR2 (newer) stuff, you'll need this update site:

http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/updates/nightly/3.0.x/

Note that it currently contains the H11 build, which is newer than H9. There is no H9 anymore; the site is self-replacing every time a new build is done.

When I tries to install jbossas version : 20.0.GA-N200903131158-h26
I still get the same error message.

Could it be that I need to install some other component before the jbossas?

It works for me no matter what I do - I just use a clan eclipse ganymede JEE install, add the updatesite and it installs.

note, we are releasing the final version this week - please try from there when it becomes available.

the nightly update sites are not guaranteed to work perfectly.

There is no org.jbosside.eclipse.firstrun in JBoss Tools 3 so not sure why you are getting that error.

Are you upgrading from JBT 2 ? If yes, then that won't work since you are then running on Eclipse 3.3.x which is not enough for JBT 3 - for that you need Eclipse 3.4.2

Note that you can't just update JBoss Tools 2.1.1 to 3.0.0; you need a clean Eclipse 3.4.2.

JBoss Tools 2 won't run on Eclipse 3.4, and JBoss 3 won't run on Eclipse 3.3.
