1. Re: SeamResourceServlet and SeamListener Problem
mjstrong Nov 13, 2009 8:02 PM (in response to mjstrong)PS - The Seam group recommended a CLI approach, which I'm happy to use (e.g., seam-gen, revengr, and ant explode), but I thought I'd move the post here per their suggestion to also try to figure out what I did wrong with the JBoss Tools wizards.

4. Re: SeamResourceServlet and SeamListener Problem
akazakov Nov 14, 2009 4:42 PM (in response to mjstrong)Could you check if the application is deployed to the server correctly?
Please open JBoss Server View and select Explore in pop-up menu for <your-seam-project-name>. Is there jboss-seam.jar? -
5. Re: SeamResourceServlet and SeamListener Problem
mjstrong Nov 14, 2009 6:46 PM (in response to mjstrong)The jboss-seam.jar is not there; however there are many jboss-seam-*.jar files where * is a variety of things such as ui, mail. ioc, etc.
The jboss-seam.jar is in my EAR project:
C:\Users\Mike\workspace342\RaisedInAmerica-ear\EarContent.
I did not explicitly put any jar anywhere. This is where they fell from the project generation.
I take it I should move that jar over to the EJB project, right? -
6. Re: SeamResourceServlet and SeamListener Problem
mjstrong Nov 14, 2009 6:49 PM (in response to mjstrong)No, sorry. It should not go in the EJB project. It's just some deployment problem, I think.

7. Re: SeamResourceServlet and SeamListener Problem
mjstrong Nov 14, 2009 7:06 PM (in response to mjstrong)FOUND THE PROBLEM!
If you right click on the server and go to Add and Remove Projects, it showed that it had only included the WAR and data source. The EAR was not included.
I removed all, then added back ALL, and now it's fine.
Thanks, for helping me!
