Problem with SOAPFaultException in a SOAP/RPC Handler

Have you tried throwing the custom exception that is associated with your fault message from the handler?

I'm not sure I understand. I can't throw a custom checked exception from my handler since the javax.xml.rpc.handler.Handler interface does not declare this. And all subclasses of Error and RuntimeException seems to be handled the same way as SOAPFaultException, ie the soap fault returned to the client looks as the one above.
