Add custom headers to web service client request from MBean

Hi,
I read in one of the previous post regarding web service access from MBean, http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&t=74842, and it said that I have to use DII to construct the web service proxy for a MBean. How do I add custom handler(s) in a DII client? Is the only work around for this problem is to create a local EJB with service refs to the external web services?

JBossWS our new stack allows you to do that. Have a look at

org.jboss.test.ws.handler.DynamicHandlerTestCase

In J2EE-1.4 compliant WS access to

 /** Returns the configured HandlerRegistry instance for this Service instance.
 *

 * @throws java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException if the Service class does not support the configuration of a HandlerRegistry
 */
 public HandlerRegistry getHandlerRegistry();

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. I took a look at the test case and I saw that the dynamic handler feature was added after JBoss 4.0.2. It is not easy for me to just switch to JBoss 4.0.3. Is there anything I can do in JBoss 4.0.2?

This is only available with the new stack that will ship with jboss-4.0.4. In 4.0.2 you should use the approach you suggested
