2. Re: calendar i18n for today, clean, ok, cancel
tjakopec Jan 31, 2008 3:41 AM (in response to tjakopec)I read docs
The <rich:calendar> component allows to use "header" , "footer" ,
"optionalHeader" , "optionalFooter" facets. The following elements are available in these
facets: {currentMonthControl}, {nextMonthControl}, {nextYearControl}, {previousYearControl},
{previousMonthControl}, {todayControl}, {selectedDateControl}. These elements could be used for
labels output.
but I can't make it work in my app
this is my code<r:calendar value="#{zaposlenik.datumVazenja}" datePattern="#{operKonv.postavkeOperatera.prikazDatuma}"> <f:facet name="footer"> <f:facet name="todayControl"> <t:outputText value="#{messages['danas']}" /> </f:facet </f:facet> </r:calendar>
it's not working.
Could someone pleas show me example -
3. Re: calendar i18n for today, clean, ok, cancel
ilya_shaikovsky Jan 31, 2008 3:49 AM (in response to tjakopec)No you read wrong section..
"...The <rich:calendar> component provides the possibility to use internationalization method to redefine and localize the labels. You could use application resource bundle and define RICH_CALENDAR_APPLY_LABEL, RICH_CALENDAR_TODAY_LABEL, RICH_CALENDAR_CLOSE_LABEL, RICH_CALENDAR_OK_LABEL, RICH_CALENDAR_CLEAN_LABEL, RICH_CALENDAR_CANCEL_LABEL there.
Or you could pack org.richfaces.renderkit.calendar resource bundle with your JARs defining the same properties." -

ilya_shaikovsky Jan 31, 2008 5:17 AM (in response to tjakopec)b.t.w. your previous code snippet is wrong.. macrosubstitution should be defined in other way. Code examples described in the docs.

6. Re: calendar i18n for today, clean, ok, cancel
tjakopec Jan 31, 2008 5:23 AM (in response to tjakopec)That was my idea of implementig i18n. it was wrong :)
Here is our tipical uses of calendar<r:calendar enableManualInput="true" id="datumVazenja" value="#{zaposlenik.datumVazenja}" inputStyle="width: 90px" oninputkeypress="return disableEnter(event);" datePattern="#{operKonv.postavkeOperatera.prikazDatuma}" />
Is this best practice? -
7. Re: calendar i18n for today, clean, ok, cancel
susnet Apr 14, 2008 5:41 PM (in response to tjakopec)I use Seam 2.0.1 and RichFaces 3.2.0 and when I put for example RICH_CALENDAR_CLEAN_LABEL in my resource boundle it does not work.
This is the code I put in my base.properties (which is the default resource bundle i have included). Everything else in this file is working.RICH_CALENDAR_TODAY_LABEL=Todays date
Have I missunderstood how I should use this?
