bill.burke Oct 18, 2004 8:25 AM (in response to fabboco)check your PATH and your JAVA_HOME environment variable. I've seen this exact error when I compile with JDK 1.4.x.

thank you, I checked JAVA_HOME before posting but I had not seen the mistake !!
Now is working fine, but running the client from another machine I get this error:

grant { // Allow everything for now permission java.security.AllPermission; };
Then add this system property to the client startup:-Djava.security.policy=java.policy
