How to set pessimistic locking for entity beans?

which it is the annotation for setting the pessimistic locking for entity beans?
Is it possible?

This is not possible in the EJB3 spec. You have to use the Hibernate Session interface and use the lock APIs (check LockMode in the hibernate documentation)

Is it possible that pessimistic locking becomes a part in the final ejb3 spec? Or is it already sure that ejb3 does not know pessimtic locking?

I can't speak for the whole EG, but I doubt this one will be part of this spec.
