Problem after downloading a file

Hi,

I have the same problem descript in the topic and bug report:

After downloading a file the next ajax request executes the download again.
It should be resolved with the 3.1.3 GA (currently I'm using 3.1.4 GA) with JSF 1.2.
But I'm must use JSF 1.1 cause I must use Tomcat 5.5 which is not JSF 1.2 conform.
Is there any workaround for this ?

Hi again,

looks like the problem is directly associated with the rich:menuItem.
Using a normal h:commandLink or h:commandButton resolves my problem.
But I would prefer to use the rich:menuItem ...
