paulswilliams Aug 9, 2005 2:53 PM (in response to khalidhajsaleh)I don't understand the resolution here.
I have the same problem with the Trailblazer app losing data after jboss restart. Is this due to the jboss changing tables which causes data to be dropped?
Cheers. -
4. Re: Unable to presist data
khalidhajsaleh Aug 9, 2005 3:00 PM (in response to khalidhajsaleh)There is configration that commits database changes. If it is not set correctly, your updates are rolled back.
Make sure that is set as follows:<property name="hibernate.hbm2ddl.auto" value="update"/>
If the "value" is set to anything else, your database changes are rolled back when you shutdown the server or redeploy your app. This parameter can be found in one of two places: either your particular app persistence.xml
or at the server level:
\jboss-4.0.3RC1\server\default\deploy\ejb3.deployer\META-INF\persistence.properties.
Hope that helps. -
