EntityManager outside the session bean?

Can I, by some means, retrieve the EntityManager or the EntityManager factory outside a session bean (but within the Jboss appliaction server)?

look in the docs:

entity.manager.jndi.name

entity.manager.factory.jndi.name

or something like that defined as a property in persistence.xml
