1. Re: Configure transporters using jboss remoting service conf
tom.elrod Jun 19, 2006 10:17 AM (in response to perrucci)You mean to create your own transport implementation? If so, there are not docs on this yet, but can help walk you through it via this forum thread (and will then convert to doc).
If just looking for how to configure to use a different transport that is already available, can reference http://labs.jboss.com/portal/jbossremoting/docs/guide/ch04.html. -

perrucci Jun 19, 2006 5:41 PM (in response to perrucci)Hi Tom,
my question was about how to declare the configuration of a transporter in a jboss service.xml.
It's possible to define something that programmatically is configured using a piece of code like this?
server = TransporterServer.createTransporterServer(locatorURI, new CustomerProcessorImpl());
Thank you

3. Re: Configure transporters using jboss remoting service conf
tom.elrod Jun 20, 2006 1:04 AM (in response to perrucci)Ahh, ok. Can setup a Connector in the jboss-service.xml (more info at http://labs.jboss.com/portal/jbossremoting/docs/guide/ch04.html).
However, the TransporterServer can not be setup this way. It can only be done programmatically at this point. May try to allow it in the new micro container (JBossAS 5), since is much easier to inject live instances with it. Would be possible with current microkernel in JBossAS 4, but would mean that your pojo would have to be a mbean as well.
