bonfarj Aug 24, 2005 9:46 PM (in response to degerlac)I recommend that you first install the eclipse and the jBpm Graphical Process Designer plug-in. After, read http://docs.jboss.com/jbpm/v3/userguide/tutorial.html#helloworldexample.
To get started for eclipse users: download jbpm-3.0-[version].zip and unzip it to your sytem. Then do "File" --> "Import..." --> "Existing Project into Workspace". Click "Next" Then, browse for the jBPM root directory and click "Finish". Now you have a jbpm.3 project in your workspace. You can now find the examples of the tutorial in src/java.examples/.... When you open these examples, you can run them with "Run" --> "Run As..." --> "JUnit Test"
I hope I've helped you. -

5. Re: Running jBPM Examples - documentation update?
hapybrian Aug 30, 2005 3:59 PM (in response to degerlac)Hello~
I can run the examples just fine (all the tests come out green).
Reading through the code is good, but the documentation (both
online, and in the Eclipse help) seems to be referring to a
previous version of the API (in particular, there are several
mentions of parse in JpdlXmlReader, when it appears parsing
is now in ProcessDefinition.). Are there newer docs that I
missed, or do I just need to read through samples and the
API docs (which DO seem to be up to date)?
Thanks for any info~
Brian
