Is anybody using Selene for testing?
I have problem: how to execute click on row, or on link in row? They can't have unique id's beause they are made in iteration

The next question is - how to deal in Selenium with Ajax actions?
I have two combos -choosing sth in first fills second one using Ajax. Hovewer Selenium doesn't wait for end of Ajax action and see second combo as empty

You just need to look at RichFaces repository to see how we are going to use Selenium to test client side ajax functionality. Your question is answered there in the code.

I would prefer SeleniumIDE - our testers doesn't know java. Do you think it will be possible to write ajax test in html?

Java? I do not understand why you speak about Java if you test the client side part?

your example above is written in java, I see no html test to import into Selenium IDE. Did I miss something?
