process instance id

How can i get the process intance id of a process??

I need it to do a INSERT in a owner DB.

Hi rafael,

AFAIK you can use org/jbpm/model/execution/ProcessInstance.html#getId()

I think what he meant was:

call the method getId() on the processInstance.

yes, I pasted the package and class name from the javadoc url. Sorry that it wasn't clear.
