Error opening connection what does it mean

Hi,

i am trying to run the application(HelloWorld) given by the jboss jBPM using ant script.when i am doing that i am getting the following error.

if jBPM server is used do we need to have jboss server.

can anyone help ,its very urgent

It means there is no server running on port 8080 on localhost. Did you start one?

You can embed jBPM in standalone applications or run it
on/in a j2ee server or something like tomcat, not specifically JBoss.
