running jbpm core engine

HI All

I downloaded JBPM 3.1.2 core engine(jbpm-.zip) from sorceforge.net and my intension is to run JBPM in our applicction .. so can you please help me how to start this JBPM engine ..and run in our application .. what all the properties i need to setup.... what i need to run the JBPM Engine....

I'm new here as well. The documenation for getting started is really great, so I'll second kukeltje's recommendation.

that will help you to get an overview of jBPM as a standalone app.

It's easy, just download the jBPM Starters Kit.

it comes with everything you need to start from scratch or just to follow a sample.
