Transfer Process Instance id to Previous same Process defini

Hi,

I have deployed the Process definition (first version)
and created 10 process instance id

By mistake I re-deploy the same process definition and created the Second version of process definition in jbpm database
and also created 5 process instance id.

Both version (first & second) of process definition are identical.

Now I want to delete the second version of Process definition and 5 process instance id which were picked up using second version of PAR to point them to first version of process defenition.

I know how to delete the PD. I need the solution how to transfer process instance id second version of PD into first version of PD

Please let me know did you got my point/doubts?

Appreciate if any body can response the above solution.

just do the following:

JbpmContext ctx = conf.createJbpmContext();
GraphSession session = ctx.getGraphSession();
String processName = TheNameOfYourProcess;
ProcessDefinition defTest = session.findLatestProcessDefinition(processName);
session.deleteProcessDefinition(defTest.getId());
ctx.close();

and that's it.

Do not forget to replace the TheNameOfYourProcess for the name of your process.

I know how to delete the latest Process definition.

I need the solution only how to transfer process instance id from second version of Process Definition into first version of Process Definition.

For eg;

1)
Process defintion id - 1
version - 1
process instance id 1 to 10

2)
Process definition id - 2
version -2
process instance id 11 to 15

for above serial no 2. all process instance id (11 to 15) from process defintion id 2 transfer to process definition id 1
